So I bet you’re wondering just what the difference is, right? Then I guess it’s a good thing that my good ol’ buddy Merlin over here can tell you, huh? Take it away Mr. Wizard.
Thank you Merlin! I hope that’s made it very clear, but to put it in a nut shell, Knights and Maidens are good, but Knaves and Wenches are evil. If you have any more questions, please PM me or one of my co-admins.
”Ahem.
A Knight Is a male character who is good, like Arthur and Lancelot. They uphold the values of medieval knights to be charming, loyal and helpful. These are the guys who help out at your local volunteer centre, and serve soup to the hungry at Thanksgiving. That’s not to say they are perfect – even the most generous of men keep things to themselves, and the most loyal can find themselves turning away from who they pledged such loyalty too.
A Knave however, is the complete opposite. They do not follow anyone’s orders; they do not conform to the norms of society. They bully and they beat and generally hate the good guys – these are men like Mordred, out to take what they can get and keep it for themselves.
A Maiden Is a knights counterpart. Kind hearted and good natured these girls are sweet and graceful, but sometimes far from the innocent appearance they keep up. But even though they may seem like the perfect girlfriend material, they too are human and can be swayed by temptation – you need only to look at Gweniviere for evidence of this.
A Wench Is not a serving girl, but rather a woman who listens to gossip and uses it for blackmail. These are the girls who smile to your face and stab you in the back once you turn around. Cheaters and bitches, they are often looking for a way to the top, much like Morganna, and will do anything to get there.”
